EB-series | Thermally Conductive Insulators
Product Highlights
- A thermally conductive insulating material based on glass fiber cloth or
PI film, with good thermal conductivity properties, insulation and
puncture resistance. - EB material is available in sheet form of 305x305mm and roll form of 305mmx76m.
A single-sided thermally conductive adhesive can be applied to
facilitate assembly and ensure thermal conductivity. - Also available in customised die-cut shape as per customers’ request.
- EB insulator is commonly used in conjunction with other thermally
conductive materials for filling large gaps.
Application
- Power amplifier
- Power module
- LED lamps
- Automotive electronics
EB series is a high-performance, electrically insulating, and thermally conductive material designed to meet the heat transfer and breakdown voltage requirements of today’s electronic components. It is based on glass fiber or PI (polyimide) film, offering exceptional puncture resistance to prevent damage from screws or other components during use or installation.
The material features a thin, soft conformal coating on the membrane, providing an excellent mating surface for installation and effectively reducing interfacial heat resistance. This makes it ideal for applications where both electrical insulation and heat dissipation are critical.
EB series comes in various thermal conductivity options, allowing it to be tailored to a wide range of applications. Additionally, these materials can be die-cut into custom shapes to fit specific design needs, offering flexibility in use and ease of integration into electronic assemblies.
